Guatemala - Feliz Navidad Christmas coffee

Every year, we are excited to choose a new coffee for our Christmas special "Feliz Navidad". This time, we went with a Guatemalan coffee from the region of Huehuetenango.

Blessed with rich volcanic soils, ideal rainfall patterns and high altitude, the coffee cherries are given plenty of time to mature and develop higher sugar contents. This in turns, pairs perfectly with the natural dry process in which the whole cherries are made to dry and ferment for 20 days. During that time, the sugar gives the coffee wild, boozy and syrupy sweet flavours.

10% of sales will go directly to support Rewild Wicklow and their incredible mission: "To monitor, protect, enhance, and increase native habitats in Wicklow so it can support a vast, biodiverse, balanced ecosystem of historical flora and fauna."
