Ethiopia - Safar

This lot comes from a group of small farmers in the Sidama region of Southern Ethiopia, who work across 10 hectares of land in the Huro Hibiro village in Sidama. The varieties grown there are selections from the Jimma research centre, selected from wild plants in the Metu-Bishari forest in the Illuababora zone in Western Ethiopia.

This coffee is all processed and dried at the family home of the farmers. It is picked, floated and separated before drying for 20 days on raised beds.
